More Cute Stuff

Having a baby is delightful! I'll show you.

Ok, this first one is the way I fell asleep a few nights in the first couple weeks when his days and nights were mixed up. That wasn't so fun, but still sweet and the rest of the pictures get better.
Charles has been having fun times with Daddy and getting some exercise.
He is getting along well with Rosie.

He doesn't mind getting a bath, if he has a nice warm towel.

Sometimes he just hangs out.

 Or plays with toys.
He is always good for a snuggle. (I've only let him fall asleep in our bed a few times, usually when I'm tired).
It's great to make new friends. (People are like cheese, you see, always a new and wonderful variety to try. Pike Place Market was having a cheese festival with free samples. We weren't sure if unpasteurized cheese is ok while breastfeeding so I didn't try those ones, though I just looked it up and it would have been fine... :( oh well).

As long as there's enough noise and jostling, Charles sleeps peacefully. We visited the lighthouse park and ferry station near our home with Nathan and Allison.

 Seawalls are not for babies.
He is hoping to be just like his dad when he grows up.

Charles
Recently he has been sleeping 5-6 hours at night, even 7 one night--amazing! I don't think we did anything special, he's just a great baby.

He has started focusing on things better. The other day I played a game with him; I held him on my lap facing me and moved my head from side to side. He moved his head to keep looking at me, and that was the coolest thing ever!

I love his little faces, wiggles, cuddles, noises and first smiles (they are so adorable!), even cries (just because they are his).
